Well, not that we didn’t appreciate everybody’s support on tumblr, we’ve just moved on.
Well… not to the great beyond “moved on” but rather to:
Believe us, this is for the better, so please update your bookmarks and don’t forget to visit our new digs.
No you’re not imagining this
It’s been quite a long time since this place got a facelift and it seems that it was about damn time.
It took some time to make sure things got rolling but boy did they start rolling. The concept is simple, keep it simple and straight forward. Trim out all the stuff that doesn’t belong and make sure that this place is all about the art.
This time however there are a couple of differences to what has been done before.
What’s different? (other than just about everything)
And while not everyone might like the new look, remember that it’s all about the art. Any piece of art starts out as a blank sheet of paper, canvas or screen on which the artwork will eventually grace it’s facade and this version of Satellitesoda mirrors that reality. No filler and nothing ultra fancy, it’s all about the art and making sure it shines.
And much like Igo mentioned last time we made a major update, none of this would be nearly as rewarding without the constant support of everybody who current the forum and have helped make this place as cool as it is. Without your support, it’d just be us, the SatelliteSoda members, and as cool as we are we need you!
One thing to keep in mind is that the site was intended to be viewed on modern browsers (such as Firefox or anything new). So if anything looks “off”, update your browser and you’ll see the site the way it was meant to.
IE or Internet Explorer has some problems from time to time with rendering the forums so keep that in mind when visiting the site.
Thanks for stopping by, and spread the word!
